Malaysian Athletes Are Losers

Posted in Sport by User ImageMZaidee

I felt sending 33 athletes to Beijing Olympic is a waste. Since we spent lots of money on these athletes, everyone is hoping for them to bring at least one gold medal.

For your information, we never won any gold medal in Olympic Games (Don’t laugh!). We just ended up with one silver medal – it’s from world’s number 2 badminton player – Lee Chong Wei.

We hope Michael Phelps is a Malaysian. So next time, we just need to send him alone and bring back 8 gold medals – he is amazing.

  1. At least you have one. The Philippines which sent 15 athletes received zero medals. They didn’t even advance to the next rounds (except for the archer).

  2. ehm..tak tahu la loser ke tak. At least, diorang dah cuba yg terbaik.

  3. It is the negativity within our people that shows who are the biggest losers. Our squad may have failed yet again, but one day it will be their day of victory. Nobody goes through life without failing, can’t be so naive to think that just because an abundance of money was invested doesn’t guarantee success. If the people have no believe in their own national squad where does this leave the integrity of our people?

  4. at least they tried their best… rather than doing nothing……..

  5. Phelps is an incredible athlete. While I think it is great that the US has won a bunch of medals, I think that the spirit of honest competition is what makes the games so special. I wanted to extend and invitation to participate in the weekly blog carnival that I host on Athletic Alley! If you follow the backlink, you will see the blog carnival in the right hand column. It could definitely provide more exposure for your site and the sport (or sports) you love. I love baseball and am an Atlanta Braves fan. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like they will be playing in October. There is always next year! From what I have been reading, baseball and softball may be eliminated entirely from the Olympics. This would be sad for me as a fan.

  6. If you’re wining because of just a single silver medal, think what we Filipinos are feeling.. lol..

  7. Certainly, but we need to train our athletes not only physically but mentally as well. Malaysian need to sent only the best prospect not just merely passengers to London 2012. And Malaysia need to train them now for London 2012.

  8. i don´t like people calling a silver medal winner a loser. hey everyone who says that should go for gold himself. why these people don´t have a gold medal. i think it´s a great honor to start at the olympics and a silver medal is perfect !!!
