Currently, I’m a kind of crazy about Arabic pop music. They sound different from those from East Asia.
If you look at 10, 20 years ago, the Middle East was one of those few places where parents and children enjoyed the same music - and today there is that generation gap that is forming for the first time in the Middle East. Believe me, most of them started in downtown Beirut, Lebanon. These pop superstars are providing the soundtrack for tens of millions of young people across the Arab world.

Started as a model at the age of 16, Haifa Wehbe is one of the gorgeous Arab celebrities - famous both in Middle East and Hollywood. She is also an ambassador for the Red Ribbon and the struggle against AIDS in Africa and the Arab world.
Haifa Wehbe is a Lebanese artist that shook the Arab world by storm with the release of her first album “Howa el-Zaman” (It is Time) in 2002. Currently Haifa is the bestselling singer of Arabic music.
A video that was made by Korean actress Kim Ok Bin became a hot topic in Korea when it was launched on YouTube. The video is labeled Korean Beyonce because of the music that plays in the background and the way Kim dances.
