Here’s a beauty from Malaysia – Siti Nurhaliza; a multiple-award winning Malaysian pop singer-songwriter. She is currently the most successful Malaysian singer in the industry.

Unlike artists who have left Malaysia and reached international stardom, she became an international icon as her career blossomed locally. To date, she has garnered more than 200 local awards as well as international awards.

I wrote about Miss Universe 2008 competition held in Nha Trang City, Vietnam few days ago.

Yes, Miss Venezuela Dayana Mendoza is the winner.

But who actually made the day? She is Miss USA contestant Crystle Stewart of Texas!

She tripped on the train of her bejeweled evening gown as she made her entrance. She stood quickly after the trip, but is the second Miss USA in a row to fall during the Miss Universe competition.

Next time we need to make Miss USA wear tennis shoes.

Yuri Ebihara, a 28 year old from Miyazaki Japan, is probably one of the most popular and famous models in Japan right now.

She is a TV model for Shiseido cosmetics, McDonald’s, FujiFilm FinePix cameras and many more, and a regular print model for popular woman’s magazine CanCam.

Ebihara is affectionately known by her nickname Ebi-chan, which is based on the first character of her family name. Ebi means “shrimp” in Japanese and has been used by McDonald’s Japan to promote their fried shrimp burger.

She is still looking for ‘Mr X’ and would like to get married. Anyone?
